Sleep Train Opens Second Mall-Based Got Sleep? Store

This Got Sleep? store in Vancouver, Wash., is the second of the mall-based specialty sleep shops opened by West Coast retailer Sleep Train. It is designed to provide on-the-go mall shoppers with a comfortable, convenient environment to explore advanced sleep systems.

ROCKLIN, Calif. - With one successful mall-based Got Sleep? store already in operation, West Coast mattress retailer Sleep Train opened a second location on May 8.

The new store, with 1,180 square feet of selling space, is in the Westfield Vancouver Shopping Mall at 8700 N.E. Vancouver Mall Drive in Vancouver, Wash. It joins Sleep Train's original Got Sleep? store in Westfield Galleria at Roseville Mall in Roseville, Calif., which opened last year and has 1,400 square feet of selling space.

Got Sleep? stores offer smaller, denser shopping areas than a typical Sleep Train store, which averages about 5,000 square feet. Got Sleep? is a specialty sleep store designed to provide on-the-go mall shoppers with a comfortable, convenient environment to explore sleep systems from Tempur-Pedic and iComfort by Serta, according to the company.

In addition to advanced sleep systems, Got Sleep? features a selection of nearly two dozen pillows, including ergonomically shaped pillows from Tempur-Pedic and iComfort as well as down, latex blend and memory foam blend pillows.

"A lack of quality sleep has Americans desperately searching for anything that will enable them to sleep better," Dale Carlsen, CEO of employee owned Sleep Train, said in a press release. "Got Sleep? is the answer. By providing easy access to sleep systems and accessories designed to enhance sleep from the world's most respected and recommended brands, we strive to create a healthier, happier quality of life, especially for those who are not sleeping as well as they should be."

Sleep Train said it plans to open more Got Sleep? stores in malls, open-air shopping centers and lifestyle centers this year.
