The surface of the bridge steel plate shall be free of cracks, bubbles, scabs, folds, inclusions and delamination. The surface defects of bridge steel plate are allowed to be cleaned. The cleaning depth shall not be greater than half of the steel thickness tolerance from the actual size, and the thickness shall be guaranteed. The cleaning place shall be smooth without edges and corners. If the above surface defects are allowed to be cleaned, the cleaning depth shall not be greater than half of the steel thickness tolerance from the actual size, and the thickness shall be small.
